Welcome. We're so glad you've decided to take this course. We've designed this to take you through a very simlilar experience you would have if you were taking it in person with us. The goal is to guide you through the whole process of applying for shows, from evaluating your products, to finding shows, understanding applications, creating a successful application, handling rejection, preparing for a show once you've been accepted, setting up at a show, and what to do after the show. We are so excited to be a part of your future successes as a handmade business owner.
So, who are we and what in the world do you possibly have to learn from us? We've been doing this awhile.
This course has been compiled, taught, reorganized, planned, trashed, restarted, tweaked, and (almost) perfected by three people and here's a little about those individuals:
Briana Hefley-Shepard
Briana is the brains, and hands, behind Bifftastica, a handmade business by a true lover of everything vintage. Briana repurposes discarded jewlery and gives it new life in beautiful peices that anyone who is anyone would love to wear. She also makes handbags from vintage fabrics and takes old patterns and new images to create one-of-a-kind lightswitch covers. Briana also organizes Alliday, an annual craft show in Tulsa, Oklahoma featuring _______ artsits and crafters each December.
When not crafting, Briana and her husband love to spend time at the lake, play with their animals, and save the world one cat at a time through her volunteer work with Street Cats of Tulsa.
